Dravid_TheWall Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 ^ defintely new coach.that motu does nothing' date='doesnt even come for PCs[/quote'] He is a waste of space but seems to be immune to being sacked. He has made no active effort to stem the decline in the team and it hurts me that our talented team is struggling for consistency even in ODI's. In tests we are a major flop. This idiot must go. We have completely lost our game plans and the more we lose, the more the players are becoming agitated with each other.

Dravid_TheWall Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 since WC only one thing has changed in our team' date=' Coach. and results have been shockingly different.[/quote'] Exactly, it's very logical. The success of John Wright and Kirsten has been undone. Thing is, the players keep defending Fletcher which confuses me further. If they stayed neutral it would make sense but few have come out and said how Fletcher has given them batting tips e.t.c. But point is, we don't ever have good plans or counter plans. I notice this a lot in test cricket. It is appalling. I hope this guy now gets sacked because they may keep him if we do well at home (which we will). The team and fletcher shouldn't be allowed to hide from successive whitewashes...
VRV Singh Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 http://stats.espncricinfo.com/commonwealth-bank-series-2012/engine/records/averages/batting_bowling_by_team.html?id=6632;team=6;type=tournament lol. Mostly rubbish. Kohli did well. MSD saw them safely through a couple of games. Gambhir decent. Vinay started well but tailed off. Jaddu wouldn't mind swapping his batting and bowling averages. IKP best avg of the main bowlers. Can be content with his all-round performance. I am sure they are glad to be on the flight back...
yoda Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 wow, never seen tendulkar #6 in a ODI series scoring list. something's gotta be seriously wrong with him.
div Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Dhoni captaincy was piss poor ' date=' 0/10. We are much better team than SL on individual talent apart from Malinga but captaincy wise we are miles apart.[/quote'] Malinga has poor record against India n Pakistan, let us see what Mahela can do in Asia cup
GautiMaan Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Quite disappointing, especially considering our performance in the previous edition.Whatever happened to the potential we felt in that squad?
ZodiaC Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Sehwag - 1/10 - In the worst phase of his entire career despite getting that 200 Sach - 2/10 - Really doesn't look so out of form each time, but somehow doesn't get going. What a massive disappointment :(( Gambhir - 7/10 - Was very good for the most part of the series, almost all games we won he made that significant contribution. Kohli - 9.5/10 - nuff said, what a player - despite the embarrassment in the tour, gave us something to cheer about with his ATG innings. Dhoni - 6.5/10 - tricky, he batted brilliantly in that tied match, but the other matches, even the ones which he got half tons, was pretty ordinary with Misbah-esque batting. Captaincy was really ordinary, but not rating it separately. Rohit - 0/10 - Idiot, looked clueless for the most part. Was such a great oppurtunity. Raina - 4/10 - Redeemed himself with that quickfire knock, but still just horrendous against short pitched stuff, absolutely horrendous. Jaddu - 2/10 - Bowled alright in one match and saw us through in the one vs Lankans, otherwise **** (as usual) - **** off already. Ashwin - 5/10 - So-so, expected a lot better from him, kept on dishing short pitched stuff and batting was way short of what was expected from him (though can't blame him much, came under pressure situations almost all the time). P.K. - 3/10 Except for one match, what an absolute joke. V.K. - 5/10 Bowled well in the beginning, but regressed towards the end. Zak - 5.5/10 Alright, but still far from the Zak we know. Umesh - 3.5/10 - Didn't get much opportunities with the new ball, and leaked runs, but to be fair, he is supposed to be a strike bowler. Didn't bowl enough with the new ball to get a decent perspective on him.
Trundler27 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 here's my opinion: Kohli - 9; Gautam, Irfan - 6.5; Dhoni - 6; VK, Zak, UY - 5 The rest of them should be rated 'R' for ridiculous * Special mention for Manoj Tiwary for faithfully carrying drinks and not creating a ruckus like the rest of the losers who were our so called batsmen.
vvvslaxman Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Rohit - 0/10 - Idiot, looked clueless for the most part. Was such a great oppurtunity. . B->
Texy Posted March 3, 2012 Author Posted March 3, 2012 Quite disappointing' date='especially considering our performance in the previous edition.Whatever happened to the potential we felt in that squad?[/quote'] I felt the intensity shown in the prev edition was quite missing in this series...may be it was the result of 4-0 drubbing but the intensity was definitely missing may be Team India play too much cricket and the passion is missing
adi B Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 nohit is such a lazy boy, with very slow reflexes, he surely will be find it hard in fast paced tracks, hell even paki spinners, specially afridi will wallop him in asia cup
shinchan Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 for dhoni's captaincy----- 3/10 for continuously backing jadeja ,ashwin and raina get used to it:csk:
shinchan Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 sehwag- 0/10--- gave his wicket too easily sachin 3/10--- got starts but lost his way every time. Gambhir 7/10--- getting into form Virat kohli 8/10--- gave us hope & something to cheer about. Rohit sharma 0/10--idiot:wall::wall::wall: raina 1/10--one given for only last ODI dhoni 0/10---another idiot...tryin to be hero tied match cost us dearly:finger: lucky in one match thanx to no ball.failed as captain.so called rotation policy didnt give single match to tiwari & sharma:finger::finger: jadu 2/10---dont want to talk about it ashwin 3/10--:(( PK & VK 5/10..bowled well with new ball zaheer 4/10..:(( umesh 4/10 expensive
NeutralCat Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Gauti a 7/10? lol the guy is a joke a flat track bully both his 50's came in Adelaide where the pitch is flat like those **** Indian pitches.
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Wow looking at those bowling figures i didnt realise Jaddu bowled so badly, played all 8 matches bolwed 61 overs (second highest) and took 3 wickets at SR of 109...why the f*** was he continuously picked!? Id give Pathan an 7 overall, came in for a few games having not played and was our best bowler.
Ultimate_Game Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 I am surprised nobody rated the "coach" Fletcher :haha: I would give hime -1 as we would have been better without a coach than we were with him.
jusarrived Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Virat was standout , that apart Dhoni , GG & Vinay wer decent . The rest of the squad did nothing
