maniac Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 Mods can you change the title to 2 more milestones
Stuge Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 ab yeh 1 run bhi nahin banayega[Now Sachin will find it hard to even score 1 or 2 runs forget about 4 or 6's
VRV Singh Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 On Monday it will be a year since his last hundred. :sherlock:
yoda Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 100s - check, 6s - check, 4s - check Time for find some milestones for 2s and 1s and even Tendu will start contemplating retirement. :hahaha:
Ponka Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 No player is a legend unless he takes 500 catches. So bring it on.
maniac Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Ok so he has 9150 ODI runs in 4's and 6's....so 850 runs more in boundaries :--D. So he ain't goin anywhere till then so suck on this haters
maniac Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 ^^Absolutely agree it is a meaningless record by Sachin's standards...But all the bradman's nearly 100 avg supporters can shove that where the sun doesn't shine. AND NO THIS IS NOT TO START ANOTHER SACHIN VS BRADMAN DEBATE BUT HOPEFULLY A TRIGGER TO END IT Can you believe nearly 10000 runs in a single format just in boundaries.
maniac Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 100s - check, 6s - check, 4s - check Time for find some milestones for 2s and 1s and even Tendu will start contemplating retirement. :hahaha: Looked at no of wickets t20+Odi+Tests...1+154+45 exactly 200 Nothing to acheive there Also makes sense that that is the reason why he stopped bowling.....Maybe should try for 201 as shagun.
zen Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Does he hv a record that is actually a record like 100s/innings in tests, highest avg, inngs like Lara,s 150, vvs's 281, etc First we had Kapil who played like 40 more tests to get some world record that noone cared for except Indians now Ten .... Indian record breakers

Indian record breakers So number of runs is not a record after all as a batsman you are expected to do what? make runs, right so he had made it. As far as innings like Lara 150 is concerned. Has LAra played a single inning like Desertstorm, the one against Pak in 2003 WC, the 135 in chennai 1999, the 175 against Aus in Hyderabad, the Century in CB series leave every thing has LAra ever hit a bowler like Cowtney Walsh for a six to complete his hundred. No he hasnt the most selfish batsman denied his country a chance to win the match for scoring 400 and you are comparing him. As far as VVS inning is concerned give me a batsman who has consistently made above 50 in his entire carrer from last 20 years above a person who plays once in a life time inning. MAy be you can ask Dhoni or Ganguly to which kind of batsman they prefer in their team, the one who is consistent or the one who once in blue plays a terrific knock.

Azharudin went past Haynes 8000 odd runs in ODIs to have the highest runs in ODIs, Ravi Shastri, iirc, was all pumped up and asked Azhar on what he felt about the record. Azhar, being cool as usual, replied (the essense): 'It would have been a record if I had scored those runs in less or in as many innings as Haynes. If you play more innings, you will get more runs." Rest of your blah blah stuff is what is known as srt bhakti :winky:
achilles Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Tendulkar Close to another milestone He's retiring :hehe:
