He is trying a technique which hussey and cook have adopted to great effect.Just Holding the bat In air.It was said when facing windies quicks of yesteryears many batsmna adopted the technique. It gives batsman more chance to see the ball and play late it seems.

India-KXIP fan Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 No real risks so far, playing well. This innings is a good example for any batsmen on how to bat when not in form. Grinded it out at the start and now runs are starting to flow.
