Bhuvaneshwar bowled well today. His inclusion for India A is fair IMO. Did quite well in FC this season. Decent batsman and good bowler, hope he keeps improving.

wow.. he honestly reminded me of aaron:cantstop:
No. His runup and action are very similar to Pattinson, relaxed. Aaron's is like Hilfenhaus.

Bhubhaneshwar though is OK but definitely not Good enuf to play for India in 1 day' date=' test or T20[/quote'] did awana bowl at 147K - i read one of his interviews and he says he bowled a ball in IPL at 147k looks like this guys is really promising and if he continues his pace he will force the selectors to pick him - he is already way ahead of praveen kumar in Punjab and definitely much better than most indian pacers and trundlers.

do we need one odd ball at 147 k ? it wont make any diff good thing is he is consistently bowling at 142-143 tht wht counts

Alan Donald seems to be a fine bowling coach, his bowlers have shown remarkable achievement during the IPL, EXAMPLE B KUMAR, PARNELL, both of these bowlers looked like they are bowling with a slightly better action and have upped their pace by 7 _8 k's, I saw a big change in the way Parnell completes his action and puts more effort and back in his action , also B Kumar seems to have a better flow to his action.Awana seems to be a strong lad, and he hits the bat hard, simple action, and can bowl to a plan also has good variations, he can be a prospect for ODI'S, T20 for now. Shami played a game in CLT20 and looked good, he is much more experienced now, only reason why he is not playing is he might be recovering from injury, otherwise he definetly is the most impressive among the current new comers.

Watched Shami bowling in the practice sessions in the Eden gardens & he bowled Gambhir with a excellent inswinger which came in late & got him bowled.Plus he also bowled some peaches to Kallis. He looks like a bowler of Anderson mould.Has a natural & deadly outswinger & lively with his pace around 137-142 in FC matches. Though he can bowl 145+ in ODIs & T2Os.But I'll say he's fast-med not a genuine fast bowler like Umesh or Aaron. He's a excellent prospect & I think the best one among the young upcoming talents barring Umesh for tests.I won't be surprised if see him inthe test squad pretty soon.Zak,Umesh,Aaron,Shami & Ishant/Praveen should be our seam bowlers for tests.

If he can swing the ball away at 136-142K with consistent accuracy, he will be more than handy in any format. Such kind of bowlers are always strike bowlers. We in India rarely have an away swing bowler who can bowl at decent pace. Most upcoming bowlers who have pace are mostly open chested inswing bowlers and ones who can swing the ball away do not have enough pace.
