If there are loopholes, its not their responsibility to remind the ICC. It was a cunning move and I guess ICC will surely look into this issue before it gets out of hand.

Imagine Dhoni giving up captaincy for Kohli and Kohli doing an excellent job. Neither Dhoni nor Srini would take that risk.

Asim Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Let's keep rain out of the equation now, the other 4 scenarios-- 1) Aus & Ind win: Both Aus & Ind go through 2) Aus & SA win: Aus go through and the team with highest NRR of the three(Ind/Pak/SA) go through. 3) Pak & Ind win: 3 teams(Aus/Ind/Pak) will have equal points, NRR decides the 2 semi finalists. 4) Pak & SA win: Aus & Pak go through. I think chances for them to qualify: Aus: 9/10 SA: 3/10 Pak: 4/10 Ind: 6/10
