Forget bowling and batting, fielding absolutely sucks. Zaheer, Sehwag, Balaji, Ashwin, Yuvraj..too many slowcoaches in the 11. Need Tiwary and dare I say Chawla from the available options to ensure at least there is an int'l standard fielding side playing for the nation.

Dhoni has an uncanny way of bouncing back in dire situations.. he is NOT a player who is bound with varying degrees of form in varying times. We are at the mercy of our bowlers.. .. and unless that dynamic changes wherein bowlers are as effective or more effective than over all batting.. we will always be LESS than 50-50 with chances to win anything.

Hate it. Always start with some big team against a minnow. Another load of one sided games today, it almost feels as if the tournament has not started. The 1st game should be a blockbuster to get us all going. England v India or something to get us all watching and interested

Agreed. ICC is just plain stupid. When the first match is a blockbuster.. it's not only more exciting for viewers, but all the other teams are fired up too. The first match should have been between England and Australia IMO.
