Yep. He was dropped just as his skills were waning but he served his country well in the format. Very well!

he was an off spin bowler when he came into the side. came in at number 8 on his test debut, although he went on to compile an unbeaten century. his career path was along the lines of jayasuriya and shoaib malik.
