Maintaing an avg of over 50 is so very easy in indian domestic circuit as the pitches are dead rubbers and bowling is below par. Real test comes on these kind of A tours. So far, nothing new was found.......as expected Pujara did well.....he should have been in the test squad long time back........This tour proved that he can be drafted into the india side directly even if he gets injured again in future..... Rohit .....as usual flashy and not applying himself.....dont deserve to be in the test sqaud unless he realises the importance of his extra-ordinary skills...... Manoj is a mediacore players....shoudln't be a part of any A side going forward. He can be easily replaced by mandeep or surya kumar yadav........dhawan ..a complete joker.....should be replaced with unmukh Chand.........mukund should be persisted for few more A tours....he seems to have the temparament and can play long innings (got few 200+ runs in domestic circuit).....Again Rahane should be persisted for few more tours. Find of the tour is defintly Shami ahmed......Few more A tours and couple of Ranji seasons should have him ready for wearing blue jersy... Completely surprised that Dinda is not getting wickets....is he totally fit after getting injured in IPL?? He was bowling incredibly in recently concluded IPL...Easily one of the best IPL Pace bowlers
adi B Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 great day ahead, more likely we will lose this one.. terrible batting from the top order as usual, cant cope with pace,bounce,swing,little moverment + the 3 idiots at the top really hampering the teams position in the game...some possitives out from the game, pujara has done well, hopefully saha nd nohit scores some runs 2morrow in tough conditions to prove their worth... the bowlers have consistantly bowled well, this was a problem on away tours, but ahmed,dinda nd this guy dawerekar have done great... hopefully the match is saved or won 2day to sel the series

We play spinners day in day out in the domestic on all kind of pitches ranging from pitch with invariable bounce to pitch that turn from day one. We are supposed to be better equipped. It is bad technique. On certain pitches playing off the backfoot is detrimental. You have to quickly assess that.
