No coalition compulsions or pesky opposition The BJP has got a complete mandate to be as strong as they want while de'aling with Pakistan and China. This is what people expect from an elected govt whether its coalition or single party rule in which Upa utterly failed. Even our defence minister who is from my state termed the recent beheading of our soldiers has just a terrorist act. Going soft on terrorism will only be a encouragement to our neighbours. Security of nation comes first

No comments about Modi's criticism of discussion as an approach by Congress to bring Dawood back and using USA's Osama style raid as a supporting argument? And being a non secular government with a total mandate, that should be the case going forward, correct?

Some poster said that Modi will have to eat beef in order to prove he is not communal. I replied that he doesnt have to eat beef but minorities will be thankful as long as he doesnt ban it.

Narendra Modi has said he'll regulate cow slaughter in the interests of dairy industry and its consumers - AFAIK there wasn't mention of religion there, and his arguments, prima facie, are on good grounds as well. The masses were fed up of the seculars trying to malign the guy. They did the same in the guj assembly elections and during lok sabha.

When he criticizes Congress allowing meat slaughter, it means he intends to limit (not just regulate) cow slaughter which is already prohibited in many states, including Gujarat. Right now minorities and Dalits are still able to procure meat because it is sourced from neighboring states. The more the controls, beef will get both harder to buy and become more expensive.
