Number Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 In Bihar' date=' Nitish will split so Lalu and Cong will benefit and there will be a division of votes. BJP won't get more than 10 seats. [b']In UP BJP will get a maximum of 15 seats if Modi is the PM candidate. Thats a total of around 25 out of 128. You may think all this is BS now but I'll say you should mark these posts by me and come back to check my predictions after the elections if Modi is the PM candidate :nice: :fishing:
Number Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 @Modi bhakts - mark this post and come back to see it after the 2014 elections. Here's my prediction - irrespective of how many seats BJP gets, Modi will not become the PM in 2014. :fishing:

Texan Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Yeah' date=' Indian public sans Gujarat has handed his ass back to him on platter with namak and mirch on multiple occasions.:hysterical:[/quote'] :om:
Texan Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Let's take the most optimistic scenario for the BJP(counting only the BJP not allies since their support will be contingent on Modi) in 2014: 1. UP - 30/80 2. Bihar - 10/40 3. Maharashtra - 30/48 (including Shiv Sena since they will gladly support Modi) 4. MP - 20/29 5. Rajasthan - 20/25 6. Karnataka - 15/28 7. Gujarat - 20/26 Throw in another 50 from AP, Assam, Chhatisgarh, Harayana, Delhi, Punjab, Orissa and they still don't cross 200 forget about 271. None of their allies except Shiv Sena is going to support a government with Modi at the helm. It will be political suicide if BJP makes Modi their PM candidate and despite what the internet residing middle class thinks the ground reality is that BJP has got it's ass handed to them on a platter wherever Modi has campaigned outside Gujarat. Wise words :two_thumbs_up:
Yoda-esque Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Even though I wasn't a ICF member during the WC, I regularly revisit the WC final match thread. This one is the same, except that its better.

Number Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Bihar pe tippani karne waalon ko apne haalat par sochna chahiye! Wah! Jiyo Nitish Kumar. Modi will receive a big fat ghanta from Bihar. Good to see BJP getting their rear end handed to them. Even Modi's Chacha Advani was arrested when doing his Rath-Yatra at Samastipur (perhaps the only good thing Laloo ever did). :two_thumbs_up: Nitish should be PM. Uk US based peeps should be asleep @ 3 am. PM with 2 seats. :giggle:
Yoda-esque Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Muslims votes were under 9% for JDU according to well-known agencies. He doesn't really have a solid Muslims vote bank. Even more Muslims voted for Modi than Nitesh. He is simply working the power struggle game Back on Modi's issue, there should be only one objective. That objective is to have a higher voter turnout. The more there are voters, the more better, it is for BJP increases Congress suffers. The Muslims vote bank and appeasement polices will become less relevant when more people turn out to vote. And that's what the fundamental objective is for them. And Modi is the perfect catalyst and people want to vote with Modi involved. People who never voted in elections are now determined to vote in 2014. People who never took elections properly and did not know the power their voting rights now very well understand their importance and that's is the biggest headache for UPA and those so called secular parties. Prophetic

Yoda-esque Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Modi becoming the PM is a wet dream on online forums that is never going to happen. (unless there are large scale riots which polarize the majority to vote on religious lines which in itself is highly improbable). The best bet for BJP currently is to start talking to allies who are not happy with the congress. Except Karnataka, they are weak in all three southern states not to mention UP and Bengal. If they get majority from 3 out of these 5 states with a moderate leader at the helm. BJP can win the 2014 elections given the anti incumbency against the congress. :hatsoff:
Number Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 In the 2014 elections, Congress has a lot to gain from Modi's victory in Gujrat today. Ensuring Modi remains in the spotlight will drive away allies with substantial minority vote from the BJP, and consolidate the anti Modi vote with Congress. Though Modi's presence does polarize the middle and lower middle classes to a certain extent, the vote gains in this department wont be enough to offset the losses to their campaign because of similar polarization on the other side. In other words Congress would be able to demonise Modi and make voters vote on emotional lines by glossing over the mega corruption scams and dismal economic record in their tenure. The BJP+SS+JD combo cant be expected to cross 200 even if does much better than expected. SP, BSP, Left wont touch them with a flagpole and the best they can do is to hope to persuade ADMK and TMC. Unless both JJ and Mamata win their respective states by a landslide, the NDA cannot reach the 272 mark. Every non-NDA party did.
Raghav_12 Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Delhi University Suspends Five Officials for Leaking Smriti Irani's Documents http://www.ndtv.com/article/india/delhi-university-suspends-five-officials-for-leaking-smriti-irani-s-documents-533606 New Delhi: The Delhi University (DU) on Friday suspended five officials for allegedly leaking documents related to the educational qualifications of union Human Resources Development (HRD) Minister Smriti Irani, officials said in Delhi. "Five of the non-teaching staff of the school of open learning have been suspended for accessing the confidential file and then leaking it," Malay Neerav, DU joint dean of students' welfare and media coordinator, told reporters. "These are officials below section officer level," he said. DU took the action after a Hindi daily published the leaked documents. The daily had written that Ms Irani had taken admission in DU's School of Open Learning last year, but had not appeared for her examination. Ms Irani is in the center of a controversy due to her educational qualifications that has led to a full-blown war of words between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Congress had alleged that Ms Irani had misrepresented facts in her election affidavits. The Congress leaders have said that Ms Irani in her affidavit -- when she was contesting the 2004 Lok Sabha election -- mentioned her qualification as bachelor of arts (BA) which she passed in 1996 from Delhi University's school of correspondence. But in her affidavit for this year's Lok Sabha election, the actor-turned-politician mentioned her educational qualification as "Bachelor of Commerce Part I, School of Open Learning (Correspondence), University of Delhi - 1994." The Congress has protested against an "undergraduate" being appointed the HRD minister. (Education Minister Smriti Irani 'Not Even Graduate!': Ajay Maken's Tweet Sparks Row) The BJP countered it with questions about Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's academic background. Ms Irani has meanwhile said that "extraneous circumstances" were created by the opposition to divert her and requested the people to judge her on the basis of her work. ('Judge Me By My Work': Smriti Irani's First Response To Controversy Over Her Education ) It's all have started happening sooned than i had thought. Any news or any question against this govt. will not be tolerated and dealt with iron fist. First you take whole country on ride by giving false information and when caught red-handed, start suspending people. Sahi me achche din a gaye hain.. It deserved it's own thread, but I think people will get message from this post itself.
