Ultimate_Game Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Poor stuff from Ramdin. Scoring a 100 in a washed out test when the series is already lost and that too after doing nothing for the last few years doesn't mean you can take shots at an all-time legend. Looks like Viv was right after all and Ramdin doesn't seem to have the right attitude.
Jersey #10 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Sweet revenge...u go ramdin put the couch hogging critics in their place
phaedrus Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Statement of the day When Denesh Ramdin completed the second Test century of a career that has, to date, promised somewhat more than he has delivered, he celebrated in unusual fashion. He dropped his bat and produced a piece of paper from his pocket which contained a pointed message to Sir Viv Richards. "Yea Viv talk nah" it read; a reaction to some criticism Richards had made of Ramdin's recent performances. "He has deteriorated in such a big way," Richards was reported as saying before this game. Viv was distinctly underwhelmed by Ramdin's statement. "That innings was a long time coming," he told the BBC. "If you are given enough chances then you will get it done." He went on to suggest that Ramdin's innings did not come in a pressure situation: "This was in a losing cause. If, in a football match, you are losing 5-0 and then score a goal in the last minute, you would not jump for joy. I set my standards a little higher." source classy response from Viv.
yoda Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Funny response. At least he has taken Viv's comments seriously.
Number Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 source classy response from Viv. :two_thumbs_up: Ramdin pwned.
Sidhoni Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012  Scoring a hundred against second choice bowlers that too in match which is gonna be drawn. And then replying to a legend like tat who was just stating the obvious.
Crookbond Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 "Sir Viv had something in the press," he said. "I think I got a bit emotional. He is a legend of the Caribbean. I still look up to him. If I see him anywhere I will still call him out and probably have a drink with him." "I can't remember the statement quite clearly, but it was a bit hurtful to me," Ramdin said. "I went to the nets, worked hard, came out and proved myself to the critics." Ramdin has now said he went overboard. Time to move on.

MCcricket Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 dhoni forced selectors into removing gambhir from vice-captaincy as he doesnt want any threats to his captaincy dhoni took the credit for the wc final win despite the fact that gambhir played a million times better innings making 97 when sehwag & tendulkar had got out early and we were struggling at 30/2 Agree Dhoni is partisan and insulted the seniors, next time Sehwag takes a diving catch he will write down "Abbey Dhoni ab bol na" Sachin makes a good save same thing. Gambhir takes a good catch same thing Dhoni finally scores some runs on a sporting track he will write down "Abbey Ganguly ab bol na" Richard seems to make sense in what he is saying, also Ramdin can express himself, I hope he raises the bar now and starts performing as his numbers are dismal.

adi B Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 why every1 behind ramdin`s ****, its quite funny what he did, such things spark up a dull test like that... nor was viv perturbed , nor ramdin felt any guilt, but the icfer`s will jump on the issue nd give their prestigious view points lol
