So it was a clash between minnows after all where the weaker minnow won by fluke.

Umpires are paid highly for their jobs, and we have a right to complain about umpiring errors. If the umpires job is limited to seeking advice from a robot, then we can use the robot as the umpire and save a lot of money.

But DRS in the present form is an inaccurate and expensive solution for fixing umpiring errors. Total DRS cost for one match day works out to around 66,000 USD and ICC does not pay for the DRS expenses at this time, so it has to be borne by the boards and broadcasters. That is an awful lot of money to pay for a defective system that has produced a lot of controversy. There were matches played before the DRS and it is not as if, we can't play matches without the DRS. Bad umpiring cannot be excused using the pretext of DRS.
