Vilander Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Greg chappel is mad & arrogant he is talking like this because he didn't got IPL contract white people's kanspiracy He is trying to divide team Chappell still hold grudges against Dada he is simply opinionated, but yeah dada and him being head strong leader characters do not get along well. but you will see that when they get older ( like in an other 15 years if chappel is still around) they will respect each other.
ganeshran Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 He is trolling. During Dravid's entire career , he was treated respectfully by the team. There were a few issues here and there which are bound to happen in such a long career but the entire team handled it very gracefully behind closed doors, unlike today where captain and vice captain give conflicting statements through the media.

Crookbond Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Not bothered by Chappell's comments: Sourav Ganguly "He can write whatever he likes. But I don't want to speak about Greg Chappell anymore," said Ganguly, in no mood to be provoked by the former India coach with whom the left-hander had a stormy relationship. http://m.timesofindia.com/sports/cricket/top-stories/Not-bothered-by-Chappells-comments-Sourav-Ganguly/articleshow/14716039.cms
CG Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Ganguly recently said dravid did not have the guts to stand against chappel.shewag, zak, bhajji all have blasted chappel and they are pro ganguly .Chappel was wrong but so was ganguly ,he just lost it between 2004-2006.
Khalpat Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 wow 100 years similar story. A gora said something "Few players did not liked Dravid", usual so called intellectuals of India login oh who had said that Greg Chappel and that too against Indian player , come on I agree how can I not, if it would have been Harsha I would have simply said F*** you moron but Greg oh comeon I have to show I am intellectual here. Few of the jokers started fighting assuming that the players are Zak, Sehwag and some moron even concluded that it is due to this kind of attitude Sachin is a mediocre player. Kabira tere desh main bhanti bhanti ke log. Why do we hate ourselfs so much? Dravid is and will remain one of the finest player and one of the true ambasador of country who is loved and respected by everyone and the first respect for any person starts from his own team remember what Sachin said about Dravid after he announced his retirement. Remember how Ganguly had confidence on Dravid even after his continuous failure in ODI's during early 2000. I will not believe this unless Dravid himself comes out and says this in his Autobiography.

There is no need for moral policing in this, some people are of the opinion that Greg is true, based on what went by around the 2007 WC it is apparently clear for some to see. It is unnecessary to bring in gora complex into this. One does not need to prove his indianness by blindly accepting a popular indian view always, thats lahori logic.

My dear these kind of things might happen the other side of Wagah not here, and you are calling my saying as Lahori Logic. What is popular Indian view, go on the street and tell this thing what Greg said to 10 people randomly, atleast 8 people will say oh yes this is true they didnt performed well, they are jealous. Popular Indian view is what Greg is saying. This is what Indian people like Masala. Tell them the story of Sachin Dravid Partnership or their respect for each other no one will look into it. Tell them the stroy of rift between Veeru and Mahi. People will jump to listen it and give their opinion. Popular Indian view is what Chappell and whole of Indian media have understood and this is what they are selling. I don't know what logic I follow but I will not believe unless this is said by a more responsible person like Dravid himself or Sachin or Laxman.
Laaloo Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Its an open secret. Greg is talking nothing new here. Just last month, Gary Kirsten said Sachin had a problem with the previous captain. And who was the previous captain? Why don't you back it up with a link? or you're simply trolling again?
Cricket Tragic Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Kumble was the captain before Dhoni but don't let facts get in the way....

Nope i definitly did not say all that, see i am responsible for only what i say not what you understand. Populist view is ok, i acceept it, but its just not the only view mate. ofcourse Dravid or Sachin or Laxman will never ever open their mouth on this, they are too good for it. but ofcourse there was evidences of dissent apparent dring dravid captaining days, probably they were the dissent against chappel but we can oly speculate. Chappel has a point.
Vilander Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Kumble was the captain before Dhoni but don't let facts get in the way.... a needle and a rock for the cradle :cantstop:
ravishingravi Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 I think some of the points he made are valid. Many like to live in denial here. It is certainly more comfortable.
achilles Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 +1 ^ Link ? The day before the World Cup final, his wife, Anjali, came to me and said ê want to thank you for all that you have done for my husband? And thatÃÔ when I realised the effect of working with Sachin for three years. He had actually considered retiring from international cricket. He had some poor relations with the previous leader of the team. And Laaloo, now that I've backed it up with a link, this one's up your ass. And now, the lil beetch that you are, you will not post in this thread and accept you jumped gun, will you? :D

I remember reading this article ' i want to go to war with dhoni by my side' ( what a geneuin comment!) and thinking that Kirsten was refering to Sachins troubles relationship with Chappel.
