Surely they would rather add quality. Both those guys are proven failures at ODI level. Sehwag should not play ODIs either, it will reduce standard of fielding significantly. Surely it is time these guys- Zaheer, tendulkar and Sehwag are all told to retire from limited overs cricket. It should have happened after the WC Link to comment
MCcricket Posted December 22, 2012 Share Posted December 22, 2012 Sreesanth when fully fit was a halwa bowler in ODI, heneeds to play a lot more then if he has changed remarkably for the better then only he should pla, Irfan is one player I wuld have in allthree formats, he was bowling very well after his comeback , he would bowl well in test's with the red ball swinging and seaming at pace 135 to 140 k, Shami, Pankaj if fit, Zaheer, Gony if fit should form the bowling unit, I hope we don't go back to same old failures.Jalaj Saxena is a good classical spinner and batsmen also can be looked at.I hope Rohit gets picked, Dhoni gets kicked out or rested and Virat as captain Link to comment

Actually Sreesanth Averages 28 at home that too playing against sides like aus,eng and Overall 33.He did well agianst nz in ind and was not played in odis after that in southafrica.He is a strike bowler and should be used for getting wickets. Shami Ahmed also is a probability. all first choice pacers PK, VK, IP, Aaron, Yadav, Munaf are injured.
