SLICKR392 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 hey guys just relax.i can assure u that no such things have happened.it is just a attempt from that sachin fan to get some free publicity.we srilankans have a lot of important things to do in our exciting and interesting lifestyles other than cricket .we have lot of things to cheer in our life unlike the indians whose only source of entertainment in life is cricket.u guys have nothing to cheer apart from cricket .once cricket season is over i wonder wat u guys do for timepass lol.on the other hand for us cricket is just a fun and pure entertainment.our lives doesnt revolve around cricket.we honestly dont care who is sachin and who are his fans.:finger: So you bash 'em? :asleep: You say that a country over a population of above 2 billion has nothing else do in life but watch cricket but few people from a little Island has got more 'interesting' thing to do rather than wait for the next wave in the beach?

The Indian cricket fans who were physically assaulted by locals at the stadium during the last ODI. It appears the less dressed Tendulkar fan who waves the Indian flag in almost all the Indian matches was slapped many times to wave sri lankan flag and beer bottles were hurled at ladies in the crowd. Eat Indian Food? Sell Coconuts on Streets? The only thing Srilankan about Srilanka is "nothing". Bet the air that you breath also comes across from the Indian Ocean....As Russell Peters once rightly said, "Sri Lankans are the forgotten Indians" ... i would say you guys are just forgotten !

Happens in footie quite often but this is the first time I am hearing about it in cricket. Way to go Loins! You can't really do much on the field but you definitely set the bar high in these kind of off-field activities. While you are at it why not assault a kid who's an Indian fan just to show who the real men are :gigle:
