I would say Agarkar was good.. Nehra was good but not consistent but I would vote for Zaheer Khan.

Aggy? Seriously? Having the ability to bowl the odd decent yorker does not make you a good bowler in the end overs. Heck, I'd trust Tendulkar in the end overs ahead of Aggy. He's bowled some decent stuff over the years.

Saar....we are taking about Indian seamers....Took a lot of effort to come up with 9options to fill the poll ... I personally chose Aggy because he atleast had the a decent yorker among Indian seamers from what I have seen which is not saying much....Heck we have Nehra with the 2nd highest votes...so that says a lot about our death bowling especially from seamers

Agarkar - Could ball a very good ball then next ball knee high full toss. So among all of them against same set of batsmen, I'll back Zaheer to come back with minimum runs conceded in the last 5 overs. I didn't watch much of Prabhakar. But will Kapil/Prabhakar though better overall bowlers, be serious contenders for this ? Bowling in death now a days is much tougher job, with better bats and most teams having players with power hitting abilities lower down the order.

Kapil was too good at the death. People who have watched him bowl during the mid-late 80s will agree with me. He kept batsmen honest even at the death. Even until the 92 WC he was the quintessential ODI bowler. He got wickets with the new ball and reined in the hitting at the death. Venky was also decent at the death

Srinath and Kumble were also good death bowlers.. and presently Vinay Kumar and Mithun are the best. :--D

ZAK in my opinion. He can bowl yorkers, beat the batsman.

Nehra off late has bowled a lot of death overs. Zaheer was very good before 2006 but since then he has not been the same kind of a death bowler. Does not bowl the same number of yorkers as he used to. Infact he was the one who gave us this whole fascinaiton of bowling deadly yorkers(I know Agarkar and all could bowl) but the sight when he got Steve Waugh bowled, made you feel that it was not an Indian way of getting a wicket. I have not seen Kapil Dev bowl, but Zak's control initially was good. also, barring the finals of the WC 2011, he bowled brilliantly in the death overs in the WC as well.
