From my point of view if not the worst it is right down there. There was nothing to pick in the Indian test XI for half their tenure and now over the last year we're faced with some tough decisions no one is willing to take them. It makes my admiration of Dravid grow stronger.
Fully agreed. They had the chance to drop Laxman and blood youngsters and they failed. Thankfully Dravid retired on his own (hats off to the man and respect him for the decision) esle I have no doubt they would have picked him as well. They picked Sehwag for the Eng tour when he was not even match fit, have selected Yuvraj even after the Sehwag fiasco proving they haven't learnt any lessons, have gone ahead with Harbhajan and Laxman coz they were the easy decisions. This selection committe didn't make even one tough decision or unearthed even one talent. Totally gutless and clueless - that's how I see this selection panel.

Selectors job is not also to break the system. This has been the most idotic selection panel' date='They have commited so many mistakes its hard to forget.[b']Vengaskar panel was so much better than this even more was better atleast took some hard decisons but this idiot .
The other day weren't you ranting about Pathan being dropped from the side for no fault of his? WHo made that decision of getting him sent back from the middle of the SA tour in 2006? And the Vengsarkar panel gave us Wasim Jaffer as an ODI opener in SA condition dropped Sehwag from tests for not doing well in ODIs, forced Dravid to quit captaincy after we had won a test series in England after 21 years! Not to forget the awesome 2007 WC we had under that panel. All this achieved in a little under 2 year long tenure.

The issue lies somewhere else and we will continue barking down the wrong tree. No matter what selection panel you have you will discuss, argue and argue more over their fallacies.

Yep' date=' The t20 selection is his final. I just hope Sourav become the new selector and get some real [b']quality fast bowlers in our side.
You cannot "get" something that doesn't exist.

I dont like srikanth much, but he was more or less a similar selector like the ones we had before. Whats with the 'idly dosa' ?? what relevance does that have with Srikanth ?? WTF is this attitude, if you dislike the man attack him. Why you attacking a particular people with ' idly dosa' ?

As if there will be miracles when the new selection committee takes over. For an Anirudh Srikanth fiasco of this selection com, the previous one gave us Jaydev Shah and Arjun Yadav. Things will go on as usual with some bizarre inexplicable selections without any vision and planning.

AWTA... Pathetic lack of form from the OP... and wonder why no action has been taken by the mods as well...
I would also like to add in about the use of the word 'Appam'. Appams are fantastics, what has an appam ever done to anyone
