Team Ranking in ODIs

So if they lose one or two T20s/ODIs and are no longer #1 in all formats, will you call them the FAKE #1s ? The heights these guys go to for the sake of disparaging India's earlier #1 ranking :giggle:
If they no longer remains #1 in all formats, they wont remain #1 in all formats :--D as simple as that & Why do you think every single comment from our side on any discussion must have some connection with India? :dontknow:

Why are rankings even relevant in ODIs and T20s? Congrats to RSA, they can be rank 1 till kingdom come. Who cares. Hum to lambi race ke ghoday hain. We'll keep winning the World cups. :isalute: I'd rather be U-19 and senior WC champion at the same time than rank#1, which is based on some random mathematical formula. Our superiority is evident on the cricket field when we win competitions. RSA need algebra to show that they're better.

Exactly. I hardly reckon SA's rise to no.1 ranking in ODIs and T20s will warrant a memorabilia DVD.

Maryam ' date=' go look at how SA beat India in the last world cup in your back yard , the come and talk about algebra[/quote'] So winning a league match is pinnacle of SA achievement. :hysterical: Go watch how India beat SA in WT20 2007 and 2010 .

What else can they win? :idunno: They cannot win knockouts (read semifinals), so they'll rate themselves on the basis of their league performances only. :giggle:

But we wont be playing any ODIs this year. So we are bound to go down.

What the hell was REAL in caps supposed to mean ? Were the other #1 teams not REAL i.e. FAKE ? Will SA cease to be REAL #1 on the basis of a T20 game ? You guys do have a history of amazing logic, for instance matchwinners to argue against anything Indian.

Feel pity for Kiwis. A few more losses and they go below Bangbros. Still remember my childhood days when they had Cairns, Astle, Parore, Doul, etc. They used to beat good teams quiet often back then (loved it when they had beaten Aus in 99 WC).

wecan reach number one after english series .if we win 5-0 again.since england is number 3 ,we will get very good points on beating thm 5-0,which is highly, highly possible
