IPL vs world T20 (in SL)

this WC has been a snooze fest, if it weren't for the fantasy league, i would have given it only a cursory glance time to time, and tuned in for only india v pak game, and if india reached semis and finals. every single game has been one sided. the CLt20 and ipl provide superior entertainment, ipl closer games, and clt20 becoz novelty of watching unknown players.

IPL over this T20 WC anyday.....If the T20 2007 gave rise to this Format ,then this one is doing everything in it's power to kill it....There is no big tournament feel at all...Bad Weather,Pathetic Crowds,Music and Cheerleadars,this is like an Anti-IPL Lol... I am looking forward to the Champions league over this and that is not saying a lot..

IPL any day for T20. Surprisingly i, I found there was more intensity in IPL matches than in this WC (so far). Most teams look tired, the organization is awful, crowd enthusiasm is zero, the music is awful, the cheerleaders unbelievably bad and the stadiums are empty. There is no atmosphere.

The format of the super8 also contributes to the dullness of this. The four groups was just dumb. Beat the minnow in your group and advance. I'd rather have two groups with top three from each advancing to super 6 or something.

Thats exactly my thought. Plus...ICC keep changing play format every other WC (even T20 dont follow the same groups etc). The group & its game had been a bore fest...& completly turn off for me. Cant believe this is called a WC. IPL is much more exciting...atleast T20 cricket wise then the current T20 WC

From limited history of T20, i think it is better suited to clubs rather than international teams.

Can't compare international to club. On one hand you have national players, playing for their country, on the other you have club players jumping around from one team to another playing for businessmen.

The DJs are shyte.. Their songs collection and mixing is shyte.. The Cheerleaders are Shyte.. On top of that they've set of 9+ Shyte Cheerleaders dancing on together on stepped stage.. As VVS mentioned, that annoying 'papparaparrappa' band is not stop... On top of that the crowd and the chicks are ordinary... Lastely, Cricket is in the hands of weather and unsporting pitches..
