maniac
So first it was seniors who fked it up, then it was the we have a young team argument, then there is always our bowling sucks theory which obviously has been since ages, so when does a captain held to be accountable? Link to comment

prasadiyer
Its amazing. Not a murmur. Clearly been threatned like you said above or something similar I was also thinking the same thing, the English media criticism is almost zero. Compare that with England, Pakistan and Australian media, which are like vultures that pounce without mercy when their teams lose. Our journalists are a timid lot, probably they are afraid of losing their jobs (by why?) The only interesting criticism comes from the fans on various forums, but who cares about them. randomGuy
We can replace him with rohit or dhawan. Problem is they are going through bad batting form. But i'd still replace dhoni. He is hopeless at managing fast bowlers Link to comment
rkt.india
Agree to that. Look at how defensive a bowler Ashwin has become. Also, he is really struggling with the new 2 balls and 4 field restrictions. Two new balls means spinners are not as effective as they were before.Secondly, we need 3 good pacers to be more effective with 2 new balls.Add to it just 4 fielders manning the boundary with such limited bowling skill set, our team is indeed struggling during bowling innings. Only when we have a good cushion of having posted 300+ or run a ball pressure target, the opposition crumble and our bowlers take advantage of run rate pressure.Secondly, our batting is strong and it has masked the woeful bowling. Now that batting unit is struggling, things have got worse in South Africa and New Zealand.Basically, our team is screwed at the moment. More than 4 fielders, 2 new balls are making us struggle. 5 fielders inside makes it a bit of an attacking field but if he we did not have 2 new balls, once ball gets older it would reverse a well give more assistance to spinners. rkt.india
Dhoni should not be sacked. No captain will win with such an out of form team.Unless the openers give good starts the batting is bound to be a problem as well.Pace bowling has always been a headache for us since decades now. Problem is too many runs conceded, too less a wickets taken. Till we concede 300 runs per match, we are not going to win much overseas. This was a 250 par score pitch, they made 300. Link to comment

King Tendulkar
Dont forget this fool backed Vinnay Kumar for game after game. Series after series. So its not just Ishant. Then we wonder why our seam attack is so raw. He backed comlete losers who any tom dick and haryy could see were not good enough for international level. Valuable wasted time, when this could have been spent grooming, developing and backing players who could do something at top level. Now these guys are not bad players but for a long time we had number 5, 6, 7, and 8 all CSK!! I mean come on! Certain players due to various factors are giving massive long ropes and time to develop. While others not so well coneected told to f off after 1 or 2 games Link to comment

While others not so well coneected told to f off after 1 or 2 games Far too many opportunities were given to hacks like Unadkat, Vinay Kumar and in the process, wasted time which could have been given to better players. Bringing back Yuvraj Singh was also a mistake IMO. Raina has a short ball problem along with other technical issues against spin and pace and he was persisted with and considered part of World Cup plans in Australia. Nobody in this setup has an eye for spotting and identifying talent or vision for future. This is what happens when captain has too much freedom and he gets to pick his favorites. Link to comment

Raghav_12
Earlier Dhoni would blame presence of seniors for all the debacles of team. He got rid of all of them, one by one. Old ones and not so old ones also like sehwag, gambhir, yuvraj etc. He has ensured any voice which could raise against him has been eliminated from the team. Now instead of calling it Indian team, we can call it Dhoni-Srini XI. Link to comment

Magneto
Dhoni will surely captain India till 2019. He will win 60% of all the Tests/ODIs we will play and in no way is he going to be removed. He will only quit if his body cannot take it anymore. Link to comment

(10% we'll win overseas.) Plus West Indies, Bangladesh, Zim, Sri Lanka etc would always be eager to come to India. Link to comment
