Same goes for the 2 spinners as seen in pre-discussion threads. But really is that our only problem? Our batting lineup is not able to chase in 2 consecutive games despite being the best chasers. Everyone barring Kohli, Dhoni, Shami and to some extent Kumar have failed in the series.

CG Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Bowling first is harakiri for indias and dhoni style of play which depends on spinners.We rarely chase 270+ away against good seam bowling attacks.Nz are known to crumble under pressure to spin and we keep gifting them oppurtunity to bat and chase 300+.
