I'm sure they don't all show their passion, but there are some cricketers that seem very passionate while others look like they couldn't care less. Steyn is one person who comes to mind when it comes to giving it 100%. Even when he was surrounded by an uninspired bowling side with the Deccan Chargers, he still gave it everything he had. Virat is another guy who I rate highly for his passion. While some players looked like they were just waiting for India to be eliminated vs SA, this guy looked like he was ready to put everything on the line and seemed genuinely upset by elimination. He's very competitive and seems to be very present and active in the field. He celebrates wickets like he's taken them himself. Raina is one of the players who backs him up in terms of passion and giving 100% in the field. DJ Bravo puts in a lot of effort which is one of the reasons why he's such a good fielder. Aussies as a whole should be rated for their commitment. It's like they have a 12th man.

Those 3 are hardly passionate cricketers. Passionate cricketers imply hating to lose any matches. However, those players realize that losing matches is part of the game and takes it accordingly. Passionate players are like Ronaldo.

You don't understand really. Every player react differently to a defeat. Certain players realize it's only part of the game and congrats the opponents. That's where those 3 belong. On the other hand, there are certain players who just ind it hard to adjust to the defeat. That's passionate and examples are like Ronaldo.

I can assure you that Tendulkar, Dravid and Kumble are gut wrenched in defeat - hard to explain because they don't express themselves.

I will still back myself because the individuals I named are not hacks but someone who played the game for more than two decades and I doubt anyone can do that without 'passion' irrespective of what the expression may mean.

You have seen his photograph receiving the MOS series in the 2003 WC? That feeling of resingnation is what is passion. You know, Kumble bowls with a broken jaw and gets Lara out on a patta wicket. That's passion. Dravid fields for a day, then goes onto bat, scores a 100 and then when followed on, comes to bat again and that too at the tender age of 39. That's passion dude. All this MC,BC, rona-dhona is not passion.
