Amma threw a tantrum and walked off - She was pouting the whole way through! If anything, Kapar should be given credit by continuing to ask the tough questions and not be overawed by her political clout.

Annadurai didnt say "Ondre kulam, oruvane thevam", it was the old Tamil poet Thirumular. Anna was a staunch atheist who ripped apart the ramayan in a scathing critique (Kambarasam). However once he entered mainstream politics, for pragmatic purposes, he softened his stance towards religion and tolerated it unlike Periyar who was militantly opposed to any religious practices.
