nballa Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Lets face it, most of you jokers were born in the 90's, wayy after the mughal rule, partition, independence, wars with pak and all the holy wrath god brought upon us and were probably not affected even a bit by those events. so why go back, read about the past and fill yourself up with intense hatred for the pakis, british etc when there are no ongoing conflicts? same goes for americans i guess. love and peace my friends

Cricketics Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I loved reading about Mughal Empire and stuff. Espcially about chutiy@z like Aurangzeb who ended up putting his dad in jail :)
PaceAttack Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 A country cannot be build without their citizens knowing the history.
Clarke Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Correct, they should simply teach C for C# & J for Java in nursery followed by an aptitude test for 5 yr olds to decide on Programmer/Tester/Administrator etc options. 10 yr olds will be ready to provide offshore support for a personal pizza+pepsi & 2 chocolates a day.
BeautifulGame Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I loved reading about Mughal Empire and stuff. Espcially about chutiy@z like Aurangzeb who ended up putting his dad in jail :) Yep always found reading about Aurangzeb amazing. The most cruel Mogul emperor yet arguably king who led the most modest live in his time
Cricketics Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Yep always found reading about Aurangzeb amazing. The most cruel Mogul emperor yet arguably king who led the most modest live in his time HMMM??????
BeautifulGame Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 HMMM?????? U should read how Aurangzeb led his personal life. His daily expenditure was even less than an ordinary citizen. Even in his will he wanted his death ceremony to be carried out by the money he earned by waiving Kullas(Muslim caps) because he firmly believed Quran prohibited luxury life IIRC
Cricketics Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 U should read how Aurangzeb led his personal life. His daily expenditure was even less than an ordinary citizen. Even in his will he wanted his death ceremony to be carried out by the money he earned by waiving Kullas(Muslim caps) Yeah all that is fine but anyone who would command torture and make regular construction workers as slaves, can't ever be called modest. The worst emperor in all regards. Hence not the modest.
BeautifulGame Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Yeah all that is fine but anyone who would command torture and make regular construction workers as slaves, can't ever be called modest. The worst emperor in all regards. Hence not the modest. I called him modest in the regard of how he'd led his personal life Just like saying Hitler is a (nearly) don't mask his cruelty.
Tiger-Don Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 HELL YES!!! it definitely should be removed! love you for opening this thread!
Desi Cartman Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I think some history must be taught but it should research based, where students research and come up with understanding of events rather being told one interpretation of it. Secondly they must ban questions asking for "years". Its stupid to ask a 14 year old when exactly was a battle fought 150+ years ago, and worse is that you either get full or no marks. Joker tu salay :finger:
coffee_rules Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 It's not from history lessons, but from moms and dads and their religious beliefs that shapes the youth's mind. It's the religious schools (Madrasas and Chaddis) that are causing these influences.
Yoda-esque Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Were u born in Neolithic age? Paleolithic. He thrives on a Paleolithic diet.
