vvvslaxman Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Mark: "Siddhartha, is this your first full series of drop-by-drop coverage of rain? Do you think that it will catch on as an alternative to boring cricket?" Absolutely, especially the feedback that comes with the commentary. Read this comment :hysterical:
mr cricket Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Which idiot thought it was a good idea to have a series in Srilanka during the monsoon season? They should've had the series in NewZealand.
namasteji1 Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Yes, it is one of the worst series of all times. Another such series i remember was in Srilanka only when westindies were there. It is one of the worst places to play cricket i think.
BeautifulGame Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Didn't they had a series against WI which was even worse?

Mahaa Raavana Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Nope...Enough cricket was played to declare a clear winner in the t20 match and the ODI series. The team that played the better cricket won in both occasions. You lot need to quit whining and making silly threads every time you see a drop of rain in SL.:icflove:
Number Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Rain is more important than a game of cricket.
vvvslaxman Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 Plays stops rain? :dontknow: :cantstop:
SLICKR392 Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Another washout. :fail: Series :haha: NZ should have pwned SL big time in this match.
saket123 Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Cricinfo has recently been a great place to get up to date weather information in Sri Lankan cities.
carnish Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Any Series involving Sri lanka is the worst series doesnot matter if it rains or not.
Sidhoni Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Just checked out CI after looking at this thread. All 5 matches affected by rain! :hysterical:
Square Drive Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 It was one of the historical ODI series where all the countries watched and learned how the world's smartest cricket team adapt to the new ODI rules. One of the tactics they adopted was to whine about the new rules and explain to the media how difficult it is for the captain and spinners. I'm sure DS Mhoni would have certainly learned few tricks. :giggle:
Executioner Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 the total crowd in the entire series has been around 10000. today's test match in BD had 10000 ppl and it was a working day.
SLICKR392 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 ^ :cantstop: The stadium was literally empty for the home team in the WT20. :giggle:
