A few Queries on this Pitch

I thought it was a flat track for everyone and Trott' date=' Compton were gonna dominate the day's play.[/quote'] Look at his comparisons and I feel like he's not completely objective, I don't think he ever can be when it comes to England. Add that maverick -chu to that lot who suggests that Ahmedabad pitch helps seamers. Some people never come outside their well.

Anyone who supports their nation can never be truly objective. The only true objective fans are foreigners looking into cricket without having their nation play it or supporting/following a nation.
then u will say exclusde australia they hate us exclude sri lanka and pak cos they have similar tracks even west indies now...:dontknow:

It is as flat a track for spinners as you can see. Pray! If you get a Kanpur 2008 or Mumbai 2004 England will be shot out in single figures' date=' it seems![/quote'] :haha:

That made no sense. I must say though, there are far less people objective about England than other teams because you either support England or in many cases, you hate England. Realistically we're probably the most hated team in the world.

Can't disagree with that. I think it is something to do with the media and fans.

Not necessarily - you ask my opinion about India in England; I will be as 'honest' in the mentioning the facts as I have done for England. It's one thing being slightly patriotic it is a totally different thing to suggest that one's country players are the BEST.

batting will get easier as the ball gets old.
Not necessarily. It will be even tougher to score runs as the ball gets softer. Sehwag did all the scoring earlier on in Indian innings when the ball was new. When the ball got soft, the run rate dropped.

was other way around when we batted maybe it wont bounce but they are not gonna get any runs hope ojha keeps it tight as poms will definately make many mistakes unlike pujara

yup it will be harder to bat as the ball gets older. Even Zaheer and Umesh will be back for the reverse swing. I guess Yuvraj singh is the key in a sense that he needs to keep the pressure on.

Lovely to see the English crying over the home conditions. Man up and deal with it. Or don't. It doesn't matter. Nobody is going to care what you think.

I meant it wont turn or bounce as sharply once it gets softer because pitch is slow.

yes but this is not harbhajan bowling..spin is real threat when ashwin is bowling he bowls it straight and spin the balls also i have seen him bowl bit quicker when pitch is very slow im sure they will figure out how to get wickets no pace will be bad for england as they wont get any runs .. then im pretty sure near end of day 3 there will be lot of rough never seen england play spin wel.. only if kp fires and plays some gr8 innings then only they can think about getting close to our total
