skindia Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Do u think cook will break sachin's test record??
Number Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 If he keeps playing against India in every 2 years.
skindia Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 If he keeps playing against India in every 2 years. he also plays well in 5 matches of ashes..too many matches he will play
vvvslaxman Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 He is one of the few guys who still have that good old test match temperament without being corrupted by T20 cricket. He may not be so easy on the eyes like Amla or Clarke. But he gets the job done. At this rate he will definitely have broken some records. To do that as an opener is even more commendable.
gaurav92 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 The kind of form he is in, who will say he can't ?
SLICKR392 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Lol..no. He is at his peak right now and he isn't gonna be in this form throughout his career. Noway! :proud:
Eternal Atma Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 No, he does score hundreds but not this regularly. It's a bit like what I read on Ponting. He did nothing last two years but when he played us he scored as many runs as he did in his previous 4 series combined lol. He won't play long enough and also he is not a match winner. Match saver maybe.
CG Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 He averages 60 away from home. :omg: Its due to India and his last australian tour performance.
Old guy Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Its due to India and his last australian tour performance. and isnt tht away from home?
CG Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 and isnt tht away from home? It is.But they have hidden his struggles in other places.
Old guy Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 It is.But they have hidden his struggles in other places. he just struggled vs ajmal....
Trichromatic Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Sachin has all those records because he has been class for so long. Cook won't need to remain at the top for so many years as he can play those many matches in just 10 years or so.
CG Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Sachin has all those records because he has been class for so long. Cook won't need to remain at the top for so many years as he can play those many matches in just 10 years or so. He is in good form now,but he has technical problems against the moving ball like getting too across when playing in england and other bowling attacks will test him.
Nova Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Cook can finish with 15,000 runs and 50 centuries: Gavaskar http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/series-tournament/england-in-india-2012/top-stories/Cook-can-finish-with-15000-runs-and-50-centuries-Gavaskar/articleshow/17509216.cms
