Gambhir and Sehwag can't even stay in the team on the basis of their performance. Kohli is too young and Zak is already dropped. He needs to take some blame for the pathetic performance by our team. They atleast average 42 and in some form in the series where as dhoni averages 18.

We have already seen how they played in last 2 years. One average series isn't going to change much. Sehwag looks like he has regained some form but Gambhir has struggled to get the runs he has.

if the selectors remove him for captaincy, they sure won't remove him as wicketkeeper batsman. he's still far better than others in the batting department irrespective of his test form. i do think he should give up t20s...

I would be disappointed. He is only 31 and remains, by some distance, the best wicketkeeper-batsman in India.

It really depends on 2 questions. 1. Are there any keeper presently who is better than Dhoni in terms of batting? 2. Are we gonna have some patience with his replacement (eg. Player X)? Suppose Dhoni is replaced by this player X, and this player X does even poorly. Are we going to resort back to Dhoni? Basically, we have got to remember that a change can make it even more worse and thus it ultimately depends on the patience.
