Aaron was bowling early 80's in WI tests so I am not sure if he can maintain pace. Doesn't matter about pace. Awana has been impressive and tbh he would never have as pathetic stats as Ishant. I am shocked Ishant has not been dropped. I want Dinda and Awana to open the bowling if it's a typical nagpur track. None of this rubbish about Ishant's bounce and pace. Been hearing of it for close to 50 tests now and many people identified how crap he was from early on. Dont see two debutants playing in one match.

Ishant again means 3 bowlers :(( EDIT-But Dinda has been in squad all this time so he will get a game for sure? Then Awana won't? Hmm both should play.

He is an outswing bowler and can reverse the ball too due to his round armish action. Dinda is out of form. Dinda this seaosn 4 matches 8 wicets at 52.75. He could not take wickets even in Mohali. Awana 5 matcehs 21 wickets at 24. So Awana is still in better wicket taking form.

Awana/Dinda whoever plays can bid their Test career :bye: after this. Ishant of course will continue to play and would end up playing 100+ Tests with a career average of 65+.

vishalvirsingh Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Exactly.....I love Pace and Ishant has that......still I want him not to play nagpur test....dinda shud have played ahead of him at his home ground EDEN....that was wrong selection. Ishu bowled at the sixth and seventh Stump always....I am not sure what's his aim, he seems to be happy with economical bowling. He dropped one of the easiest return catches one can have......awana and dinda shud play with ashwin ojha and jadeja.
