:giggle: Forget the average, it's the total runs Ashwin has scored which is embarrassing for Indian batsmen. So far Ashwin has outdone 7 top order batsmen in the series (min 6 innings).

These numbers prove that SRT and ZK should be permanently confined to Mumbai cricket if they want to continue to play for the 'love of the game'. They have nothing to contribute to Indian cricket as players anymore. I am sure it is a tall order for ZK to even stand still on the 5th day of a Test match let alone perform in it. Thankfully there is IPL for these two granddaddys'.

Ashwin has time and again shown that what a good bat he is. First an important 100 against WI in debut series then some good innings in Australia, and now in this series as well.

Only issue I have with him is his rounded body. If I was India's coach I would send him on weight loss spree. He can easily bat at #6 for us. At least we can try and see how he does at 6 because even at 8, he bats like a batsman and not like a tailender.
