NEW DELHI: As Indian pacers failed to make an impression against England, former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram says the future of Indian bowling looks "bleak" and it's time that the new faces get a chance in the team. Apart from Pragyan Ojha (20 wickets) and Ravichandran Ashwin (12), no Indian bowler bagged more than five wickets in the series, which India lost 1-2. its not abt these too electors are picking up mediocre players if any subcontinent wants to compete in coming years imo they need to create pool of fast bowlers like others teams do.. with india this is normal but wht happened in pakistan? :hmmm: i do think here are people now interested in fast bowling more infact spin is dying..this year many new fast bowlers are showing up most of them wil be average but atleast most of them are over 130k and in good conditions for bowling for first time they are bowling longer spells and picking more wickets :nice: this wil help batting too improve against pace just need to keep preparing good pitches and select proper players im sure we wil improve
