Needforspeed Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 You got any kids? If not. divorce is the best way out. Also you need to examine your sex life. Sex is very important for women. If you can keep them fully satisfied in that area, they would be easy to manage and will be willing to compromise in other areas.
vvvslaxman Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 "irreconcilable" differences? If i believe you totally she is one totally inflexible character. I am the one who believes in reconciling no matter what. You can try counselling before filing for divorce. If nothing works part ways amicably.
Malik_Bhai Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 how longe have u been married? since when has this been going on? when is the last time you had sex? do you have children? do you think you are phyiscal attractive to her anymore? have you shown intereset in what she likes/does lately? would having a divorce be a big deal to yours and hears family?
Laaloo Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 This thread is actually very hilarious. Please answer all the questions asked by respected posters above :orderorder:
maniac Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Leave alone beating her, even if I shout at her, she WARNS me that Panchayat from her village will come to my place and straighten me. :yikes: . :(( :hmmm:
Dumbbells Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Wow. I am gonna get married in few months. This is scary. :nervous:
punjabi_khota Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Seek a therapist/counsellor , yahaan icf pe dhindora mat peeto...vo kehta hain na, dirty line and public washing ..delete this thread I would suggest.
1983-2011 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I thought u were an immature teenager from ur threads earlier but ur married, get elders involved from both sides as this was an arranged marriage and it'll hopefully get sorted.
Lurker Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Good luck to you mate. Sometimes inspite of best intentions, on both sides, things do not work out. Hopefully that stage has not been reached. Probably the best option is to talk directly with her. Maybe take her out on a quick vacation and do a heart to heart. If it works then great, if not then you know your answer.
anotherhawkeye Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 My advice would depend on whether you have any kids. If no kids, get the hell out right now. If the marriage is bad now, it would be terrible after kids.
Desi Cartman Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Go see a counsellor, there maybe things which you are not doing correctly either. It will also help both of you relax and if divorce is the only way out then she is more likely to compromise after the counseling. Oh and also give up PC, ICF etc for sometime and see if things improve. Maybe she just needs more attention from you. Also help her find a job. At the same time please contact a lawyer and pm me if you need one :P .
King Khan Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 unless you are trolling here with this sorta topic, better open a blog and start detailing your experience if you think you may find some sense of releif or help thru internet. I'm sure you will automatically get connected with lots of similar sufferers and advisors. Seriously, ICF aint a place that can help you anyway.
suraj Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Come on man- tell her you are Rohit, you have talent
yoda Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 1. Try to understand her pov and make some adjustments - watch less tv, less PC, more time with her, etc 2. Make her understand your pov and see if you can make her move closer - this is the tough part When both of you start making adjustments for each other, things may look a lot easier. Don't assume she is the evil person and you are perfect. More often than not, the problem and the solution could lie closer to us.

If the wife is threatening to unleash village people on the husband, it's not a healthy relationship and IMHO is not something that can be fixed via counseling. May be worth an attempt though. The whole situation depends on if there are kids involved.
