Our only hope is for Kaptaan to move up the order make quick runs and give a sporting declaration sometimes after tea. 50-100 runs would be a handy lead and we would have literally no chance of losing because aussies will be going for a draw from thereon

That is very ambitious if Dhawan gets out early. If Dhawan can last couple more sessions, then very much achievable.

This is a Road for a pitch. And Smith is not poor against Spin like Hughes. He just applied himself. Even Starc batted well. It was good innings and must be appreciated, but I would wait till I see him bat on a turner in Delhi.

A lead of 100-150 is more than enough. Why do we need to bat for that long? We ARE not losing this match regardless. And aussies will not go for it. This gives us more overs to bowl them out and we will need to on this flat pitch.

Hmm ... India probably scored 25 runs fewer and lost 1 wicket too many in that session. I hope they make the second session count, must score at least 150. They are already safe, there's no way they can lose this, even if they lose the remaining 7 wkts for 70 runs going for quick runs. Ideally, they should declare at tea, but with Dhoni you never know. Dhwan's spectacular knock and that great opening partnership should not go waste.
