Rankings are meaningless in Odis & T20s. I could care less what the team is ranked as long as they win the World Cup. Just ask SA who are always ranked high but have precious little to show for it.

I am following this series to see how we re-build for the WC, especially performances of Shami and B Kumar as we will need pacers to succeed in Aus. I would rather have a couple of youngsters break through in the series than a series win.

Thanks to Sachin Tendulkar for motivating his mumbai indians team mate franklin. Sachin isnt playing for india still helping india becoming number 1 in odi's. :hatsoff: :mi: Now odi rankings will become useless for pakodis because test is the real deal.
