ganeshran Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Jaffer is too old to be given another chance at International cricket. At best he will be able to play for an year (3-4 series) before his reflexes start to give way.
CG Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Is this Gambhir's real twitter account ? https://twitter.com/5gautamgambhir Cricinfo is showing tweets from this account in their feed. Yeah it is.Ishant said so.
adi B Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 The bowling is the worrying part. Batting won't be much of a problem at home and we do have good batsmen in the team. u sure? :cantstop:

CG Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Gambhir atleast sounds good.Raina is an idiot it seems. If with an fc average of 34 this season he is saying what is wrong he surely needs his head checked.
The Realist Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Pretty depressing state of affairs. One of the weakest squads for a long time, it's a sorry collection of past its and passengers. There is a real lack of quality all, throughout the team, from openers to mid order to the bowling. Aus should be licking their lips as its their best chance of racking up an easy series win. Ind with dhoni and fletcher are a bankrupt team both physically and mentally. Another home series defeat beckons.
ExpressPace Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Why is Shami dropped is beyound my understanding. Dinda will go for plenty of runs cuz of his garbage short pitch bowling so will Sharma. Bhaji is low on confidence so i think only indian batters can win the game for india as bowling looks extremely weak. I am hoping bhaw can use the red cherry as well as he used the white one as he is the only hope for india in bowling dept. I would have preferred Shami and Irfan over dinda and ishant.
Texy Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I thought Ishant is still injured? Does this mean our bowling will be spearheaded by Dinda and the rookie?
Needforspeed Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I thought Ishant is still injured? Does this mean our bowling will be spearheaded by Dinda and the rookie? I dont think Ishant is injured, otherwise they wouldn't have picked him. He is going to Australia to get his 'insoles' fitted, but will be back for the Tests with his luckless and brainless bowling.
Lord Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I thought Ishant is still injured? Does this mean our bowling will be spearheaded by Dinda and the rookie? Ishant is no rookie:nono:
NareshK Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 You have to question the sanity of the selectors when they think Dinda is a test match bowler. But then again, they also picked Yuvraj and Chawla for test matches before. Worthless bunch of idiots.
1983-2011 Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 wasim jaffer had a better ranji season than dhawan and vijay but was still overlooked Murali Vijay: 5 matches, 8 innings, 138 runs, HI 42, average of 17.25 Shikhar Dhawan: 7 matches, 461 runs at an average of 51.22 Wasim Jaffer: 835 runs at an average of 75.90
cowboysfan Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 My expectations are veru low,he aussies are way better in india than the poms.
