Some individuals can rise above this like Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Kumble, Zaheer did and punch above their weight and do well overseas but it wouldnt be because of BCCI.

Yuvraj, especially had more than enough opportunity against Pakistan and England. He looked clueless

That's why he couldnt succeed in test cricket. With 2 new balls rule, top 4 batsmen need to have a good technique when there is swing and seam movement on offer especially in SA, Eng and Aus. Yuvraj doesnt have that unfortunately.

He has been a bit expensive in List A so far with economy rate of over 6 and will take some time to get settled in this format. He probably bowls quicker in Ranji. Lord Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 facing swing bowling in Tests is lot different to ODIs.no sustained close in fielders,powerplays all work in batsmen's favour Dhoni,Raina do well in same conditions,no reason why Yuvraj can't either
