vvvslaxman
Clarke is trying to be an Allan border? He used to be tough with players. But not as childish as this. Link to comment
saneindian
Irrespective of how respectful Clarke is trying to make handling of this entire episode, as the team management on tour, he and Arthur have to take the responsibility for letting things go this far. It's their failure as a leadership group as well if the vice captain is suddenly announcing his retirement from cricket. Link to comment

SLICKR392
I think Watson will turn his back on Australia and become a full time IPL player just like what Symonds did. He will ply his trade in T20 leagues the world over from now on. :rr: Link to comment

coffee_rules
Bangladesh Cricket is furious and and raising doubts of a great conspiracy involving BCCI, CA and PCB (Usman Khwaja). The one day they score a 600 and whole cricket world is talking about a homework assignment. Link to comment
ganeshran
You cant keep carrying on playing IPL many years after you've retired. Players lose touch within 2-3 years max because they don't play cricket round the year and their reflexes deteriorate with age. Link to comment

Its hard to maintain your form when you are not getting exposed to top quality cricket. Your fitness wears down, the same way it happened with gilly Link to comment

But Watson will play in many t20 leagues and domestic cricket throughout the year. So he will be in touch. Link to comment
