Sidhoni Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Hate on Jadeja is really sickening. He's doing better than our premier spinners and people still want him out of the team? ++ Maybe the hate is because Dhoni supports him!
div Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Maybe not traditionally but with Cook' date=' Pietersen, Amla, Kallis, DeVilliers both sides have very good players of spin. Smith and Trott are not bad either.[/quote'] None of them are as good as Michael Clarke
I6MTW Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 iirc Cook, Pieterson, Trott were dismissed by jadeja in the 4th test.
Lord Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 iirc Cook' date=' Pieterson, Trott were dismissed by jadeja in the 4th test.[/quote'] not Cook
SLICKR392 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 None of them are as good as Michael Clarke Kallis and Amla is.
I6MTW Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 well then, anyhow Pieterson and Trott perhaps the world's top 10 batsmen and Micheal Clarke the world's best batsmen have fallen to him. If he can get the world's best batsmen out then he can get anyone out.
NareshK Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 He is doing a great job just as a bowler. If he contributes with the bat, it will be a huge bonus. Though I dont agree with the 100 tests part. His bowling will mostly be effective in India. If he has to play in overseas tests, he has to improve his batting technique by leaps and bounds.
Texan Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 This Shrikkanth is a joke. He should stop giving statements in the media, because he is full of air. I agree that Jadeja is a good player and could become vice-captain and even play many Tests. I feel he is very talented. The reason I am saying Shrikkanth is a joke is because when he was heading the selection panel, he never picked Jadeja in the Test team! He only picked him for ODIs..... and now this joker goes on record hailing Jadeja! What a piece of %$*& !
Texan Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Chikaa is the Indian afridi- dumb as a doorknob and cavalier as if he was Napoleon himself on the field. Ultimately, totally a waste of space. :cantstop::two_thumbs_up:

We cannot consider anyone's runs batting in the top 7 as 'bonus'. He absolutely has to contribute with the bat which looks increasingly unlikely every innings. He is doing well as a baller now but we know his shtick which is stump-to-stump at brisk pace and it's not like he is taking fifers or anything spectacular. This is very short-termist - I am not even referring to away tours here as Sirji will be negated quite quickly at home.
carnish Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 What does this idiom mean - "he is full of air" ? :dontknow: I don't know if he meant this or not but in Eastern India, we call a guy as full of air when he says fake stuff and made up stories a lot. Its typically called in Odia as 'PABANAA'. Its like we say in Hindi FEKU banda hai. In Odisha, its a common term for anyone who comes from Cuttuck district.
Texan Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 What does this idiom mean - "he is full of air" ? :dontknow: I meant full of hot air.
carnish Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I meant full of hot air. Still Confused?? What does that idiom mean??
FischerTal Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 NOOOOO, Sir Jaddu, why must you do this to us? :((
FischerTal Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 this is the same chikka under whom we lost 8 test matches abroad. not a single change in the team. nobody takes this joker seriously :hysterical:
Rohit S. Ambani Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 Got out cheaply today, need to work on his batting. Need to transform his Ranji 300s to International 300s.
