CoverDrive Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Looking at Irfan I am quite impressed how he has picked up pace. He was quite averge when he first came. Steve Finn is another bowler that comes to mind. Quite a few of English bowlers have dramatically become better with time. Flintoff was a trundler when he came who later seriously became better. Even guys like panesar, broad have improved over time. Steyn is another one who has became an all time great gradually. Only Indians I can think of are kumble and Srinath. Any other examples?

I6MTW Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Another bowler would be Yuvraj Singh. He went from a part-time bowler to an actual all rounder in LOI'S. But after world cup he never got a chance to bowl because he was injured. And then he got cancer. Now with the ODI rules changed, he needs to reinvent himself. Still good in t20's though.
