It should be competition between GG and MJ on who gets that spot in the tour matches :--D I still strongly believe Rahane should open. What big match temperament you are talking about?:hmmm: GG is a proven player.its a matter of sorting technical weakness.His century will help his case.Also in the middle order its not much of a issue

GG hasnt solved that technical weakness for quite some time now. even in county, he got out a lot poking at deliveries, but as i said he will most likely be #4 purely on the basis of being the most experienced player. going with a complete new squad doesnt seem likely

Plus always felt format most suited to is Tests then odis then t20s. Slots are available and he will defo get one. He is best player of short ball in team. We can afford to ignore such a player. He is suited to longer formats as wont get bogged down there, as does not matter Plus check out his FC record, just on that he is serious contender
