Would take GG over Rahane any day ANY DAY. Rahane doesn't even have the strength to clear the infield and extremely limited in stroke play. Rahane is the Nigerian scam of batting.

Doing well in the flat decks of India (in FCs) would hardly be a great indicator I think. Both Mukund and Gambhir should go for the SA tour with Gambhir captaining the team. That's the only way to find out.
