Good luck to you then. WIll be lucky if Dhoni gives him a game or two. Can you name one youngster given chance by CSK in last couple of years? Its the same set of players Anirudha, Badri, Vijay, Raina, Dhoni, Jakati, Ashwin etc.
Wasn't Ashwin a youngster when he first played? He came into limelight because of IPL. Baba can play a few games because Chennai is normally a turning track. Jadeja, Ashwin will be automatic selections due to their form. It will be between Baba/Jakati as third spinner.

I may be wrong there.I watched him in one match and was pretty good.I was surprised that GG didnt open with him in Final. Anyway, the bigger point, hes far far having lost his way
Yes. Ball was swinging a lot in that match and he looked good otherwise he did not look much threatening, no pace too, may be conserving himself for IPL:winky:.

Though this season, I would say they were inclined to find a domestic fast bowler to lead the domestic pace pack of CSK and hence, they brought several young pacers like Rajpoot, Mohit, Imtiyaz, Ronit More, etc.

I think CSK and RCB have selected too many Indian pacers. As a result, most of them will be benched and will not get to play. Seam bowling options in RCB : Zaheer Khan, Sreenath Aravind, Abhimanyu Mithun, Pankaj Singh, Prasanth Parameswaran, Harshal Patel, RP Singh, Sandeep Warrier, Jaydev Unadkat, Vinay Kumar. They will probably select only 2 among these bowlers. If these bowlers had gone to some other teams which are lacking in Indian seam bowling options, they would have got more opportunities and maybe also resulted in better contests. I dont know the motivation behind this strategy. It could be a tactic to deny other teams the advantage of having these players and IPL committee should ensure that something like this is avoided.

Are you talking about Awana ? If yes then he was bowling at 135 k to 137 k mostly with a fastest of 143 k in the T20 internationals that he played.
