putrevus Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 in 1970s and 1980s they had good stats mainly due to home cooked umpires who never gave them out unless it was bowled or caught clearly which even crooked umpires cannot rule them not out. Javed who once told he did not know what LBW was while playing in Pakistan because no umpire would dare to give home batsmen LBW out. Once neutral umpires started to come in we are actually seeing the lack quality in their batting and bowling to some extent.

mastana Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 when it comes about batting india has better players but on other hands pakistan has produced better versions of bowlers than india bhai whats the use of these pak bowlers when they can't even perform when it matters the most like world cup matches against india. They always pissed in their pants. Whereas india even with trundlers managed to remain number 1 in test for more than a year and won 2 world cups.

someone Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Does the question mean in present time? or overall pakistan cricket. If it means present time, then it is wrong. As they do have good batsman but not consistent enough. And overall, Pakistan has had many batting legends in the game. The genuine question actually could be why is Indian fast bowling so weak?
