Crookbond
that's what I have read from all support staff including bowling coaches. When he is not playing for India he would never miss a chance to play for Delhi in Ranji even it most insignificant of the matches. Much better than players who don't play domestic cricket bcoz of cold. or who miss international cricket for kids exams. :giggle:
maniac
The guy just wrecked a strong top order...one bad over in the slog overs from a hack doesn't change the fact that he has been an underappreciated player in our side.

Ishant is a very good limited overs / T20 bowler when conditions suit him. But absolutely rubbish in death overs regardless of conditions or situations . But absolutely rubbish in death overs regardless of conditions or situations . Kind of Agree but just because Dinda is partially a better bowler at the death...can't risk playing him over Ishant either....He is definetely a better option than PK,VK(who btw I think is decent for it's worth in ODI's) etc.
Raghav_12
or who miss international cricket for kids exams. :giggle: Much better than missing international cricket for IPL and kids vacation :cantstop: He has recently played a Ranji game against Services of all teams in a cricket ground which doesn't even have stadium. India-KXIP fan
In the Zaheer thread yesterday it said how he used to be chit bowler with 100 wickets in 40 tests but was tailunted. Made me realise Ishant Sharma is similar and will also start to fulfill talent, the glimpses of brilliance will become much more frequent occurrence. BeautifulGame
He has recently played a Ranji game against Services of all teams in a cricket ground which doesn't even have stadium. Only when he is desperately out of form and his place in the side is questioned. But missed international test series in West Indies for IPL and international matches for kids vacation and Wimbledon . What a commitment :cantstop:

Needforspeed
The problem with Ishant is what we saw yesterday. For every 2 good overs he bowls, he bowls 2 absolutely crap overs. In tests the batsmen will play out his good overs/ balls and thrash his bad overs. Good bowlers need to be consistent.
vishalvirsingh
I kind of agree that Ishant is better for ODI"s Than possibly Umesh or many medium pacers if he continues His IPL form in ODI"s MY dear Maniac - pls reply what makes ishant a 140+ Bowler in IPL and a trundler in ODI"s or Tests If a batsman is hitting 140+ balls at good line n length He is taking a big chance....he is sure to get out sooner than later Why on earth ishAnt bowls Rubbish in international crick And in tests he somtimes is outbowled even by bhuvnes on pace Bhuvi has most pronounced Seam and swing wth new ball and it is kinda Sure That he wud get one or 2 wickets in a 10 over test spell If ishant maintains line n length n Pace (around 137+) he will also get wickets
Needforspeed
Dont go by what he is bowling now. Knowing Ishant I wont be surprised if he starts bowling rubbish towards the latter half of the IPL.
