Desi Cartman Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I just cant believe that some of these commentators remain excited through each and every game during the entire season without taking any drugs. I would stab myself if I have to show my genuine interest and emotion for an IPL game. Can you do their job ?

Talking nice to boss even though we despise him.
Swing_n_Speed Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Cricket commentary would be a dream come true. As a side gig I host live events. I love talking. I would absolutely love a gig as a commentator.
BeautifulGame Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Well its IPL after all not some boring 5 day test kirkut is it? Who wouldnt be excited commentating in an atmosphere with 50k people in the stadium.
vvvslaxman Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Only time i will hate to sit in the commentary box when i am sitting with harsha bhogle.
JourneyMan Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Every season I think I'm going to get bored of IPL but I never do. It could be genuine enthusiasm. One heck of an atmosphere out there.
maniac Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Danny Morrison does go overboard sometimnes so I know where OP is coming from but again they have to sell the product :dontknow:
BeautifulGame Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Frankly if u cant get excited in an atmosphere like this there is something wrong with them

rajmarie Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I dont like Shashtri...& his breating into the microphone every sentence like the game is tied on the last ball
Pagalpanti Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Danny Morrison, Laxman Siva fake it a lot but I think Bishop and Pommie do get excited.. Love hearing them! :two_thumbs_up:
Desi Cartman Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 Sorry I forgot to mention that you do not do this for money or to watch the game. Personally I would have to commentate in ****ing gazallion games and be artificially excited about random teams which are most 1000s of miles from the place I live. Can you commentate and be excited for a tournament like Bangladesh Premier league ?

Can you commentate and be excited for a tournament like Bangladesh Premier league ? Dude the commentrator is not only analyzing the game but he is hired to sell the product too...so if they fake it or if they are genuine,it's part of the job. It can get annoying but that's their job

Are they playing for charity in test cricket:hysterical:
kubrickian Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Well, its their job. I would kill to talk about cricket while watching IPL games in a stadium packed with 40,000-50,000 people and for a telecast which is beamed to millions of viewers and get paid for it. Its a dream job as far as I'm concerned.
Cricketics Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 This is where I like Danny Morrison to some extent. His exxageration to everything looks so natural because he consistently has been doing that. Even in international matches and I have become used to hearing him like this but others who fall the trend, well they don't really fit into it and it doesn't suit them.
Crookbond Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 OP is jealous because his job is more difficult than the commentators and is paid lesser than them. :hehe:

Can you commentate and be excited for a tournament like Bangladesh Premier league ? Ramiz will disagree with you. He gets orgasms every time Azhar mahmood comes on to bowl :cantstop:
Switchblade Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Only time i will hate to sit in the commentary box when i am sitting with harsha bhogle. Also add :cheerleader: Shastri alongwith Manjrekar
