Shastri - meat of the blade, tracer bullet, getting the feeling something will happen. Sunny - half-century, century, 150, 200 etc. With Bhogle it could be any old shyt (usually lame attempt at humour and desperate buttering up of guest commie) and that too at 100mph
Ram Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Bhogle needs to realize the doing cricket commentary to a world-wide audience is not the same as having a conversation with a group of fellow cricket enthusiasts. His commentary has too much of a conversation style to it, when it should have more of analysis slant to it. In this aspect, I just love Shane Warne's commentary. He's always trying to make sense out of the match situation at that moment, coming with theories on what could be done to tilt the balance in favor of either side. He may not be right all the time, but at least it makes the viewer think along with him.

Instead of asking sensible questions he makes long-winded statements. Bhogle has no OFF switch, unfortunately.
