On the other hand, franchises have spent huge money on Sri Lankan players, but because CSK does not have any influential Sri Lankan player they conveniently make a ruling where the opposition is not allowed to field their players. Unable to beat other teams fair and square, resort to underhanded crooked means.

This is the first I've heard of a team deciding who the opposition can or cannot field at their home ground. It's like Ambanis demanding that Dhoni be dropped from the CSK team when playing at Wankhede. I happened to mention it to an American colleague of mine - first he could not believe it, then could not stop laughing at how such a league could be taken seriously by anyone. :hysterical:

I bet if this problem had happened with Rajasthan or other state, Srini would have moved all ties out of that state. But because this is CSK, they used their clout to avoid that. Didnt we move the entrie IPL to SA when there was an issue?

And the playoffs have already been shifted to Delhi. To moving it to SA, how can you compare the two really?
