Rohit Sharma is the most talented young batsman in India and he should be in the Test team - I've been saying this for a long time. Lets see when he gets into the Test side.

^^ loads of talent but proven failure at international stage.. dont know where is the disconnect.
IMO he is best suited to Test cricket but he hasn't been given chances there.

Seriously flawed technique in defense and outside the off stump. He is good in hitting sixes and fours of loose ball. That's it.

he averages 38 with the bat in tests and is a failure in the ODIs and T20s based on the ones he has played. Thats hardly "legend" material. In the tests his home record v Aus is great. But nothing more apart from that. The probability is high that he will goto south africa and that average will come down below 35. Rohit sharma has a solid international T20 record. Go check if you want to so its no surprise that he does well in the IPL. I would say Rohit does well in T20 cricket in general. International matches Rohit's T20 record is 30 average strike rate 130 IPL matches his record is average 34.5 and a strike rate 132 I would say Rohit is transferring his IPL form to his international game. The same cannot be said about Mooli. The IPL is a T20 tournament. It would be foolish to compare it to tests.
