Austin 3:!6 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Cant believe an out of form player like Vijay will open for us in Champions tophy. He is stuggling for form even in IPL, how can he face the new ball in English conditions? Get ready, we will again see 20-2 in first 5 overs in CT. Cannot believe Gambhir been dropped due to Vijay. Selectors remove the biased sunglasses Thanks
vvvslaxman Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 This belongs to Cricket talk.. yes his selection had no logic. But please discuss in selection thread.

Austin 3:!6 Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 ^^ What is this lethal lethal you keep on repeating? And FYI Vijay has more international ODI exp than Junaid/Irfan.
Hafeez Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 ^^ What is this lethal lethal you keep on repeating? And FYI Vijay has more international ODI exp than Junaid/Irfan. OK Dude dont mind Vijay/Dhawan vs Rampaul/Roach Vijay/Dhawan vs Steyn/Morkel
G_B_ Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 and now Rahane plays a man of the match hand. Sometimes i get a feeling Indian cricket wants to lose. Rahane or Gambhir were better bets than Mooli. Even Uttappa (even though he was not selected in the 30 probables) was.
Austin 3:!6 Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 I hope Vijay dont get a game and Karthik opens. Having said that its a horrible desicion too as Karthik is technically not an opener. In England, his technique will be tested. Thats why we needed an experience opener like Rahane or Gambhir.
Gunner Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 ^^ What is this lethal lethal you keep on repeating He is lethal to his own team - average of 67 and SR 106 LMAO :hysterical:

In England' date=' his technique will be tested. Thats why we needed an experience opener like Rahane or Gambhir.[/quote'] i would have picked Gambhir personally. I think among Gambhir and Rahane overall Gambhir has been better.
Hafeez Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Dhawan would cream Junaid and Irfan wait until 15th june
Texan Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Vijay comes from TN. Board President comes from TN. That is all I have to say about his selection.
mastana Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 OK Dude dont mind Vijay/Dhawan vs Rampaul/Roach Vijay/Dhawan vs Steyn/Morkel dude change your id to lethal hafeez :two_thumbs_up:
SLICKR392 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I hope Vijay dont get a game and Karthik opens. Having said that its a horrible desicion too as Karthik is technically not an opener. In England' date=' his technique will be tested. Thats why we needed an experience opener like Rahane or Gambhir.[/quote'] Karthik opened in England during '07 and was more than a decent bat there. He has a fair technique to bat oversees, rarely converts his 50s and 70s into big scores, that is where his usual problems lie.
