There are no chances except in the case of Ajith Chandila n Chauhan... Even d case against Sreeshanth is circumstantial, so in all probability dey will find it difficult to convict him..... Sree can blame it all on Jijju n walk free... Mumbai police case against Guru n Vindoo is filmsy to say d least... If d charges made are only for betting, den d offense is bailable at Rs.500.. Dats d very reason der r not fillin a case n requestin d court for remand to collect more evidence to link it to spot/match fixing.... As per media reports, Srini's mistake is dat Guru is his son-in-law wic is not an offense under IPC. I was wonderin why didnt Mr. Scindia ask for Mrs. Gandhi's resignation wen Mr. Vadhra, her son-in-law was accused of some vices..... :whack: While dis drags, media is havin a field day.... If I, a normal fan of Indian cricket knw dis... do u think dat the media ppl hu deal wit des stuff everyday are not aware of it....?? All these alleged accused, media, thick-skinned Srini, Srini's detractors n irresponsible police officers (leaking unsubstantiated news) are tarnishin India n Indain crickets image all over d world..... :sad::sad: state of affair.....

IPL Commissioner Rajeev Shukla after meeting Arun Jaitley says, "Srinivasan is an elected president. Arun Jaitley and I think he should keep himself away from this till the probe is completed. A probe panel has been formed. The majority view will be considered of those who are not from BCCI. Findings and recommendations should be implemented and not be sent to the BCCI. Two judges and one BCCI member will be a part of the probe panel

A member of the BCCI probe panel on IPL scandal, Justice Jairam Chowta says it is too early for him to comment on N Srinivasan's resignation. "I am not in a position to comment. I have been appointed as a member, its too early for me to say Srinivasan should step down. We have not received the communication from BCCI on what needs to be looked into," says Justice Chowta.

Under pressure from Rajasthan Royals and other franchises the Board of Control for Cricket in India will probe Chennai Super Kings' management. Sources have told NDTV that the three-member inquiry commission, which is set up to investigate the spot-fixing scandal in the Indian Premier League, will initiate a probe on CSK management after a huge uproar by Rajasthan Royals and other franchises. Rajasthan Royals management were under the scanner after 3 of its players were arrested on allegations of spot-fixing. The spot-fixing scandal is increasingly dividing the franchises and many of them want a fair investigation. It is clear that the BCCI's decision to probe CSK management as well comes after pressure mounted from the disgruntled team owners. According to the IPL code of conduct clause 12.3, an IPL franchise faces immediate termination from the tournament if "The Franchise, any Franchise Group Company and/ or any owner acts in any way which has a material adverse effect upon the reputation or standing of the League, BCCI-IPL, BCCI, the Franchise, the team (or any other team in the League) and/ or the game of cricket."

I am not sure why this is not a slam dunk case. If the police claims to have a mountain of evidence, where is it? Why not present it and throw the books at these three. Then again, with Indian police I have my doubts on their ability and intentions.

I suspect they are hoping for more.. There might be more. but they may never catch them.
